Fun Facts about Shealin

Shealin loves to play with the laundry basket. She used to love to sit in it and have her Zio spin her around in it. It seems she now likes to put it on her head and walk around with it or ride her zebra. She loves to play with her tambourine, and Zio has taught her to say hallelujah while she plays it. Thank you Alyssa, Ryan and the other cutest baby in the whole world, Charlotte for the tambourine. However, last night while she was falling asleep she would pop back up and say hallelujah! I will try to capture her on video soon.

I Love Lasagna!

Shealin is learning to feed herself. I think today's picture shows just what a great job she is doing. I just love that face! She loves to eat Italian food, just about any kind. She really loves garlic bread too. I am still trying to fatten her up, but she is now up to 19 pounds.

Happy New Year everyone. It is the year of the Golden Pig. Shealin was a bit cranky with teething all weekend, so we spent all of our time at home. I dressed her up in her silk outfit from Guangzhou.

My Beautiful Valentine

I received the most beautiful Valentine today. It is not store bought, but handmade by my little sweetie! It is the one of the most precious things I have ever gotten. She of course is the most. Hope you all had a Happy Valentines Day. We had a snow day and stayed in and played.

How sweet it is!

Being a parent is hard sometimes. I feel like I must say no at least a half a million times each day. I don't like to say it, but if I don't set limits now I will be in big trouble later. Shealin, however will still continue to try new ways to get around them. Her latest attempts, involved trying to jump on mommy, while she was supposed to be going to sleep. After several no Shealin its night, night time, she decided to try a new tactic. She took my face in her hands and looked me in the eyes, then she turned my face leaned down and kissed me five times. It was so cute, my heart just melted. What's wrong with a little bit of jumping anyway?
